Faculty and staff in the Department of Natural Resources work closely together in addressing the department’s missions in teaching, research, and extension. Many of our administrative staff have been with the department longer than some of the faculty and many have been recognized as some of the most knowledgeable and productive administrative staff in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Our academic staff includes people who fill critical teaching roles and are key players in various research and extension programs.

As a group, we are committed to providing excellence in teaching and advising for undergraduate and graduate students, to engaging students in our research and outreach activities, and to providing knowledge of natural and environmental resources to the citizens of New York State and across the United States.
